PECH-LATT Certified Organic Wines from Corbières, France
Our MAQUIS DES CORBES is an organic wine from Corbières resulting from a blend of three of the most emblematic grape varieties of the region: Grenache, Carignan, and Mourvèdre. Its spirit of resistance reflects its dominant grape variety, Carignan, which battles against the winds sweeping through the region and the maquis, where whispers of courage and patience can be heard.

Vintage 2022:
-Bettane & Dessauve Prix Plaisir : GOLD MEDAL
-Robert Parker / The Wine Advocate : 90/100
A Corbières wine with an intense bright red robe that immediately announces a characterful nose: spices, violet, pepper, and camphor. The palate is of great finesse, repeating this spiciness that is softened by red fruits.

"Floral nose of violet, powerful jasmine, and subtle lavender scents, rich aromas of Basque black cherries, sandalwood, clove, and licorice stick, superbly tied together by a briny scent of wet chalk. Flavors full of subtlety and finesse, endowed with beautiful energy due to the tension and length. A sensation of very fine grain that brings an impression of generosity and a beautiful amplitude. Osso buco, bay leaves, Espelette pepper mash, and fatty juice."

By Quentin Loisel, Head Sommelier of a two-star restaurant in Paris, who has built his career in starred restaurants in England and Latin America.
LE MAQUIS DES CORBES is a blend of 55% Carignan, 35% Grenache, and 10% Mourvèdre. Carignan offers a wine full of freshness with spicy notes and the richness of its terroir. Grenache brings aromas of red fruits.
Our Carignan is sourced from a selection of old Carignan bush vines on an iconic terroir of Château Pech-Latt.
Château Pech-Latt, by adopting meticulous winemaking methods, illustrates a deep commitment to quality and the authentic expression of the terroir. Long vinification with 20 days of vatting, followed by several months of maturation in concrete tanks.
Delicate and slow cellar work with repeated small pumping over to gently extract the aromas and the silkiest tannins.
Château Pech-Latt was a pioneer by adopting biodynamics as early as 1990, demonstrating an early commitment to respecting nature.
At Château Pech-Latt, the commitment to respecting nature is not limited to viticulture but extends to all our practices.
Our packaging is designed in an eco-responsible manner. Our labels are printed on recycled paper, our capsules are made of pure recyclable aluminum, and they contain no plastic. Our corks come from a sustainable economy, and our cartons are 100% recyclable.

Thus, Château Pech-Latt embodies innovation and sustainability, honoring its heritage while forging a future that respects the environment.
