Vintage 2022:
-Bettane & Dessauve Prix Plaisir : GOLD MEDAL
-Robert Parker / The Wine Advocate : 91/100
L'ÎLE ARDENTE unveils a light garnet robe. Its peppery exoticism is perceived on the nose, continuing its journey towards the Orient. On the palate, soft tannins and round notes of ripe cumin and morello cherry.

"Delicate nose of cooked blue fruits such as blueberry muffins and blackberry pie, combined with the scent of zen and eucalyptus, spicy framework of Malabar pepper and saffron. Aromas are restrained, taking their places gently.
Silky texture, very flavorful and superbly balanced construction thanks to an intoxicating aromatic perception, a promise made to the future.
Braised veal fillet, sage butter, ash-cooked Jerusalem artichokes, arugula sprouts."

By Quentin Loisel, Head Sommelier of a two-star restaurant in Paris, who has built his career in starred restaurants in England and Latin America.
A blend of Mourvèdre (50%), Carignan (30%), and Grenache (20%) makes up L'ÎLE ARDENTE. The predominance of Mourvèdre in this wine brings spices, tannins, and a long finish. Carignan balances this wine with freshness and a pleasant acidity. Grenache adds aromas of red fruits.
The quality of this wine also stems from the double qualitative selection in choosing the sunlit, windy, and rich parcels of Château Pech-Latt, which allows for obtaining high-quality, beautiful, and pure grapes to produce this wine.
Château Pech-Latt, by adopting meticulous winemaking methods, illustrates a deep commitment to quality and the authentic expression of the terroir. Long vinification with 20 days of vatting without added sulfitesHigh-quality hygiene practices ensure the vinification is controlled without alteration. Delicate and slow cellar work for this organic wine from Corbières achieves a beautiful balance between fruit, tannins, and acidity.
Château Pech-Latt was a pioneer by adopting biodynamics as early as 1990, demonstrating an early commitment to respecting nature.
