Millesime 2023 : International Challenge Gilbert et Gaillard (90/100) Médaille d’Or.
A dense garnet robe reveals a precise nose, peppered with aromas of licorice and blackcurrant bud. On the palate, these same notes unfold with suppleness and roundness, enriched with blackberries. Our GRAND VIN DU CHÂTEAU will surely seduce you!

"Broad nose of black fruits and flowers, aromas of blackcurrant and wild blackberry fruit paste, framework of aromatic herbs including savory and garlic flower, sweetness of lily. Svelte mouth of juicy red fruits, highlighted by a structure of mild Indian spices and fresh nuts, tense flavor of redcurrant, balanced by the roundness of a strawberry marshmallow that helps to build a beautiful ensemble without heaviness.
Roasted duck sausage, peppers in piperade, and pickled artichoke hearts."

By Quentin Loisel, Head Sommelier of a two-star restaurant in Paris, who has built his career in starred restaurants in England and Latin America.
Our GRAND VIN DU CHÂTEAU is a blend of Syrah, Grenache, Carignan, and Mourvèdre, typical grape varieties of Corbières wines.
The Grand Vin comes from all the vineyards of Château Pech-Latt, on our clayey soils and light alluvium on the banks of the Orbieu, bringing lightness and finesse to this wine.
Château Pech-Latt, by adopting meticulous winemaking methods, demonstrates a deep commitment to quality and the authentic expression of the terroir.
The combination of 90% traditional destemmed maceration and 10% carbonic maceration specifically on the Syrah and Cinsault grapes maximizes the aromatic complexity and softness of the tannins, offering a balanced and accessible wine profile.
Fermentation at 27°C allows for optimal extraction of aromas and colors, thereby increasing the richness and intensity of the wine. The end of fermentation at cold temperatures stabilizes the characteristics and preserves the fruity freshness.
Light post-fermentation pressing ensures that only the best extracts contribute to the final blend, avoiding harsh tannins and preserving finesse.
Aging in concrete tanks on fine lees for seven months enriches the wine, giving it a velvety texture and enhanced complexity without masking the natural nuances of the grape.
Finally, racking before bottling ensures the clarity and purity of the wine, reflecting Château Pech-Latt’s pursuit of excellence at every stage of its winemaking process.
Château Pech-Latt was a pioneer by adopting biodynamics as early as 1990, demonstrating an early commitment to respecting nature.
At Château Pech-Latt, the commitment to respecting nature is not limited to viticulture but extends to all our practices.
Our packaging is designed in an eco-responsible manner. Our labels are printed on recycled paper, our capsules are made of pure recyclable aluminum, and they contain no plastic. Our corks come from a sustainable economy, and our cartons are 100% recyclable.

Thus, Château Pech-Latt embodies innovation and sustainability, honoring its heritage while forging a future that respects the environment.
