DELIVERIES AND RETURNS

Transport is an important aspect of our eco-responsibility. While carbon-neutral transport remains a goal for many carriers, we have chosen to entrust the transport of our packages to CHRONOPOST and UPS, both of which are committed to a long-term eco-responsible approach.
Chronopost, committed to carbon neutrality, is a signatory of the CO2 Objective Charter, which encourages road freight carriers to reduce CO2 emissions.

Chronopost has deployed a fleet of eco-friendly vehicles that have been delivering all of Paris since mid-September 2019, and has since expanded this deployment to 24 major French cities. Their goal is for one in two parcels to be delivered by these vehicles by 2025.
Meanwhile, UPS, through its "UPS carbon neutral" project, supports initiatives aimed at offsetting carbon emissions during shipments. UPS has funded reforestation projects, landfill gas elimination, wastewater treatment, and methane removal.

All our orders are delivered by our carriers Chronopost or UPS, depending on the weight of the package and the delivery location.

All orders are processed within 48 working hours.
In France, the delivery time with our carrier is 72 hours. In Europe, this time can be up to 5 days depending on the country.

If you notice through the delivery tracking that your package appears to be delayed or stuck, please do not hesitate to contact our customer service.

We are working on the development of our e-shop and aim to make delivery possible in as many countries as possible.
If the country you wish to have your delivery sent to does not yet appear in the possible destinations, please inform us by email at contact@pech-latt.com, and we will notify you once delivery to that country becomes available.

Our orders are prepared with the utmost care. However, if you notice an error in your order, please contact our customer service.

You can exercise your legal right of withdrawal and return your entire or partial order within 14 days from the date of receipt. Return shipping costs will be at your expense. The merchandise must be unused/untouched.

All our packages are sent in boxes specially designed to withstand the transport of your wines.
However, if the package is damaged upon receipt, it is best not to accept delivery and have this refusal noted on the delivery slip.
If a bottle arrives broken, please contact our customer service by email at contact@pech-latt.com, or directly by phone at +33 458581140, and we will offer you solutions.

OUR ORGANIC WINES FROM CORBIÈRES

At the origin, there is a unique terroir where our vines are cultivated on varied soils that bring richness and complexity to the wines.
Then, there is our commitment to organic viticulture, which guarantees wines without chemical or synthetic inputs.

From 1968, Pech-Latt was one of the first estates in Corbières to de-stem and crush grapes, and in 1970, Château Pech-Latt stopped using chemical herbicides.
A pioneer in its Corbières wine region, Château Pech-Latt fully committed to organic viticulture in 1991. The first certified “Orgavigne” organic vintage with Ecocert was released in 1994, followed by a Bio Suisse Organic certification in 1998.

Organic wine is produced without chemical pesticides or herbicides, which better respects the environment and preserves biodiversity. The winemaking methods also limit external interventions to allow the aromas to develop under the best conditions. All these principles naturally have an impact on the wines, offering more authentic and natural flavors.

The main indigenous grape varieties of the Corbières region are Carignan, Syrah, Grenache, and Mourvèdre.

Carignan: One of the oldest and most typical red grape varieties of Corbières, adapted to the region’s poor and dry soils. Carignan produces powerful, tannic wines with red and black fruit aromas, often complemented by spicy and garrigue notes.

Grenache: A red grape that brings roundness and warmth to the wines, with ripe red fruit, fig, and sometimes licorice aromas. Grenache is often blended with more tannic varieties like Carignan to soften them.

Mourvèdre: Less common but well-suited to Corbières, producing structured, tannic, and colorful wines with complex aromas of black fruits, spices, and sometimes leather.

Syrah: A more modern variety in the region, Syrah adapts well to Corbières conditions, offering aromas of violets, black fruits, and spices, with a fine tannic structure, contributing to the elegance of the wines.

These indigenous varieties, often grown in old vineyards, reflect the exceptional terroir of Corbières and produce wines with strong character that express the richness of the Mediterranean landscape. The combination of these grapes in blends creates balanced, complex wines that showcase the identity of Corbières’ winemaking.

In Corbières, red wines represent about 90% of the production, due to the nature of the grape varieties present in the region, such as Carignan, Grenache, Syrah, or Mourvèdre.

All Pech-Latt wines are certified organic by ECOCERT , an independent body that guarantees environmentally respectful practices throughout the production process.

It is recommended to store the wines in a cool place, away from light and temperature fluctuations, ideally between 12 and 15°C, with stable humidity.

If you prefer the fruity character of our Corbières wines, it is best to enjoy them within 5 years..

However, the tannic structure of our wines allows for aging potential of up to 15 years.

To fully appreciate the aromas, red wines should be aerated before tasting, ideally in a decanter.

Contrary to the reputation of robust Corbières wines, Château Pech-Latt's organic wines stand out for their freshness and elegance.
Our red wines pair perfectly with Mediterranean dishes, grilled meats, and aged cheeses.
Nevertheless, to help you better understand our wines, we had them tasted by Quentin Loisel, Head Sommelier at a two-star restaurant in Paris, who has built his career in Michelin-starred restaurants in England and Latin America. You will find his tasting recommendations on each of our wine presentation pages.

In recent years, Château Pech-Latt wines have been recognized by top critics and experts in tastings and competitions.
Our Grand Vin du Château 2023 vintage won the Gold Medal at the International Gilbert & Gaillard Challenge, and we are proud to have 3 cuvées among Robert Parker's distinctions with scores over 90/100.

A tasting at the Château with our sommeliers is always a moment of sharing and conviviality that we organize with great passion and enthusiasm.
Currently, we are working on enhancing and restoring several of our buildings to welcome visitors in the best conditions.
A little more patience...Tastings at the Château will soon be available again by appointment.

You can buy our wines directly on our website or from selected partner wine merchants which list will be soon available on this site.

Château Pech-Latt's packaging has been designed to be as eco-friendly as possible.
You can simply take your empty bottle to designated glass recycling containers, and we recommend leaving the cap on the bottle. The cap is made of pure aluminum, and it will be separated and recycled at sorting centers.
