Silent witness to what the old vines have to transmit, the Montagne Alaric has seen the arrival of this cuvée from afar, which recognizes what the old has to offer.
Beautifully purplish in appearance, Mémoire d'Alaric exudes wild strawberries and redcurrants. All in flexibility, its tannins offer in mouth the persistent memory of aromas of raspberry and strawberry.
Blend of Grenache (80%), Carignan (15%) and Syrah (5%). The Grenache makes this wine an explosion of red fruits, balanced thanks to the carignan which brings freshness and a nice acidity. The Syrah highlights this wine with structure and substance. All the expression of the sun on these twenty-year-old Grenaches. The choice of controlled quality and quantity to bring out the fresh terroirs of Château Pech-Latt.
Vinification longue avec 20 jours d'encuvage, suivi d'un élevage en cuve béton sur plusieurs mois.
Maitrise des apports notamment de l'oxygène pour l'extraction douce et délicate des arômes et des tanins pour un vin de Corbières tout en souplesse.
