A cuvée armed with patience, it comes from vines chosen among all which have given this perfume of black fruit forbidden by its brambles.
Intense garnet colour, tinged with sun-ripened fruit. On the nose, the aromas of morello cherries interact with vanilla and orange. The palate is lined with a lasting velvet sensation, with camphor and herbaceous accents.
Blend of Syrah (70%) and Carignan (20%) and Grenache (10%). Mostly Syrah gives a wine with pretty ripe red fruits, all in roundness. Carignan brings a pleasant freshness and a nice acidity. Grenache completes this wine with hints of strawberry and silky tannins. From the terroir of Château Pech-Latt, on our plots with shallow and limestone soils. The freshness of the soil and the fruit of a very present sun all year round.
Vinification longue avec 20 jours d'encuvage, suivi d'un élevage en cuve béton sur plusieurs mois.
Travail en cave délicat et lent avec répétition par petits remontages pour extraire doucement les arômes et les tanins les plus soyeux pour un vin de Corbières tout en rondeur.
